Happy Christmas. I worked, I shoveled, I worked, I shoveled again and then I slept. Most people did this as well, unless you didn't shovel, then you probably didn't work.

The Head Reunion how came and went. For those of you who didn't catch it, you really did miss the last Head show ever. Which may or may not be a big deal. To be honest, the big reason I did that was to sort of feel out playing again. Now I'm sure I don't want to be in a band anymore. I'm gonna finish recording this album and play out alone acoustically in support of the album.

'The Bored Syndrome' is something we came up with as children when we'd become contagiously bored. It's the anthem for our 'nothing-to-do' town. You sit in a room with high hopes and slowly you end up doing nothing but watching TV in silence with your friends. I don't smoke, but if I did, I imagine it would be that much worse. This is why I left town in the first place. This album reflects alot of that and some other surprises. I've got a bad writing bug. i just keep writing more and more good shit. I'm glad to see it back, I miss that. This may end up being a double album if I don't start recording ASAP. Talk to ya next week.

I think doing this once a week, to reflect, will b-a-o-k. The most important thing that really happened this week was a little Head practice. The first few songs were a little rough and then we tightened up quite nicely, shook off the rust, so to speak. Mike did have an accident and he's recovering well. Nate appears to be more built, but he may just look bigger cause I am smaller. His room looked bigger as well, so it's hard to tell. We ended up getting some great new photos for promotion and fun, of course and I got them on the Head site on the main page.

Well folks...now I'm model as well as a rock star. Yesterday for shits and giggles I went to the model search in our lovely town maybe hoping to meet some hot model chicks, for some extraciricular activites. I met and talked to a few but all I ended up with is a modeling contract. 50 poeple out of 1300 were picked. The best thing about this, was the process, and getting to meet countless people who thought they were hot shit. Which always makes me laugh because I've been accused of this alot and I've always been guilty because I think it's funny to act like that (as long as you don't put others down, everyone should elude extreme confidence in themselves cause sometimes no one else will). So this was like a great big comedy show for me. This is no doubt going to fund the album and introduce me to more hot model chicks. As this progresses, I'll let everyone know.

In music news this week. I'm done writing and have a general idea for the cover. So now it's time to record. Hopefully this goes smooth. I demoed the entire album and put it through the typical rigorous tests. It has passed, i feel very solid about this being my best work, but we'll see when we got finished product. Keep checking back for the updates.

Hello everyone.....for those of you who don't know I have moved back to the Capital District. And for those of you who dont know this, there will also be a Head reunion show at Sportsworld on Dec 20th. The best thing about living Florida was reconnecting with my old pal Scott Lombardi. For some reason Scott has always had a good aura on my songwriting cause I ended up writing an entire album worth of stuff while living with him and I took the good vibes back to NY and wrote another albums worth of material. I probably wont use it all and Ive entirely scrapped the old album, which started off as the Joe Nacco solo acoustic EP, which I'll release in it's original form sometime down the road. Meantime I'll narrow down what I've written and give a real solid album shortly. As far as Head, there are no long term plans, so we'll play the show and go from there. i hope to see all you local fans out there. As for any others out the area please make do with the songs on the site. When the new album is done it will be available for purchase online. thanks for now and see ya soon.

joenacco.com is finally up, the new album is still on its way. My relocation has turned into a bit of a vacation from music and crappy bar playing. My new plans are to scrap the album with the exception of 3 songs and rewrite and rerecord the album real nice like. Recording should start in November and I hope to have it out by years end. At this time there are 3 songs finished and 4 new songs written that need to be recorded and I'll probably write a few more. Mostly the reasons for these delays are due to visions of grandeur as I want the album to be well done and followed up with a good six months of mini tours and I've been trying to put myself in a financial position to do this. Ive also wanted this album to sort of reflect my summer of travel and other bottled up issues I haven't wanted to touch upon. When finished I expect this album to be a big cut above anything I've done so far. So be patient. i've gotten all your emails about this and I am working hard.
