Apologies for the confusion but the Savannah's show has been cancelled due to a double booking. I feel bad for Savannah's because whoever they booked first probably won't bring to the table what this show would've. Chris is looking elsewhere for something. So the show will happen down the road. Thanks for your patience.

The Northern Lights show was a great success! I believe over $3000 was raised at the door and we did our part and I want to thank everyone who showed up on our behalf! Thank you!!
The very talented Chris Dukes has asked us to do a show with him on September 19th at Savannah's and we have gladly accepted. Hope to see you there!!

We finished mixing "Imagine" last night and it came out very well. I put it up on the "FREE MP3 of the Month" page on this site as well as every other MySpace page due the vested interest of all parties. The lineup for the song is listed on the MP3 page, go have a look.

The Linda was a great success. Big turnout. Thanks to everyone who came out. There's a performance of Crazy Scientologist posted on myspace for anyone interested. Also posted some pictures shot by my good friend Al.
Paul Salamone has recruited a bunch of us to play on a cover of John Lennon's "Imagine." We head to the studio tonight. As soon as I get a copy I will post. Be good.

Don't call it a comeback, I've been here for years. July 24th at the Linda in Albany. Call it "CRUMBS Nite-Out." Call it a CD release party? Call it "The Comeback Show." Just like Elvis, except I'm phatter yo!

I have no comment on the democratic primaries other to say that I wish I would've been a fly on the wall at Feinstein's house last night...
Someone stole my debit card information and went to a gas station in Queens, NY. I guess if you're gonna steal money that's place to spend it. Who wants to spend their own money on gas these days. Thank you George Bush, Dick Cheney and the rest of your oil buddies for increasing gas crimes!!

Not too much to report this week really. Still rehearsing. Fixin to play some shows. Right now Paul, Vince and I are so into summer sports that I think we're gonna hold off a lot of shows until it gets cold, like a bunch of snow monkeys!

$4.05 for a gallon of gasoline!! How exciting!! I moved close to work so I don't have to give these f&*^ers my money. I'm also about to sell my car and buy a motorcycle.
Our little band practiced again this Sunday in preparation for some big shows comin up. Everyone and their additions really make for a nice sound. It's really exciting! Almost as exciting as paying $4.05 for a gallon of gas!

I'm real wrapped up in the Democratic primaries. As much as I get caught up in his powerful speeches, I really don't feel Obama is the right guy for us now. With the state our great nation is in I really feel we need someone with a lot of experience because it will be a big task to turn it around. I like the Clinton's and what they did for us in 90's and I'm hoping something will turn around or we'll at least get Mrs. Clinton as VP. Sorry for my little political speech, I hate when musicians do that...
Not too much cookin' this week. Another random 100 views for the "Who You Once Were" video today. I really don't know where they are coming from. Today from noon to 6pm almost 100 people viewed it?!?!
I got a ton of CDs mailed out to some radio stations that have signed on for airplay. We are also about to launch the official website for Jay Knack Records. It will be a work in progress. If you would like to check everyday and watch it grow, it will be jayknackrecords.com! Thanks for stoppin' by!

Everything was a smashing success. The video is nearing 600 plays in just one week, we sold a ton of iTunes and we've almost sold out of the first run of CDs (I just put an order in for a run of both CDs)!! Many thanks to those who did any of the former! We will be turning our promoting attention now to radio airplay and show booking for late summer/fall touring. The band is hard at work and they have quickly grasped about 5 of the new songs. Since we've been playing together forever, we also know a ton of really shady cover songs!! Woo hoo. See ya soon!

Tomorrow is the big day! Everything is in place and tested. Both albums will be available at midnight tonight on CDBaby.com and iTunes!! The videos are complete, edited, all that, and posted on YouTube and MySpace! Links are above. I can't tell you how excited I am. The videos have been well received. Without an annoucement "Who You Once Were" was viewed over 200 times in the 1st three hours and still counting as I write this! I want to thank everyone who's been involved, especially during the video shoots! That was a lot of work.
I'm also excited to announce an all-new Joe Nacco Band. Aegis and Paul from Moonshadow and Vince from The Fizziks will be lending a hand in various video and live performances to support the album. These are the most talented musicians I've played with on their respective instruments. I am very fortunate to have them aboard. There are new promotional photos of myself and the band in the gallery!! Thanks and go get your Joe Nacco CDs stat!

Hello everyone, we're one week from the big day!! Several radio stations in North America have added the new stuff to their playlists, prominently in NY and CA, even Canada! I'm headed to NYC Saturday to shoot a video for "Who You Once Were." On Sunday I'll be shooting a video for "Faker" with a bunch of my musician friends from the Albany area. We'll also do some outakes of various live performances of songs to post on YouTube. Show bookings are coming in for late summer and I will announce them when the time is right. My taxes were done weeks ago, so now it's fun time! I have created a YouTube channel for all my broadcasts. I did some generic test runs with my new camera and posted them on said channel. Have a look if you wish. The videos are also posted on MySpace if its easier to view them there. All the links are posted above!
I have insurances that the second of the two CDs will be on my doorstep tomorrow morning. This means I will easily meet my personal May 1st deadline for the physical release. iTunes works on its own schedule and I imagine it will just pop up one Tuesday in May. In case you can't tell, I've reworked the layout on this page as well my MySpace page! Woo hoo! I also will have both copies of the new albums back from the manufacturer on Friday! I've been posting more and more details on joenacco.com and my MySpace page. We will begin our full-blown promotional tactics on May 1st when everything ready to go... go, go, go! That's a line from a song I think.
Response has been great to the singles and demos and artwork. I appreciate everyone's comments, tips and help... we're finally getting this thing off the ground again!

If you've been on my myspace page, or even dropping by here, you realize there's some real stuff going on with the new albums. The artowrk is complete. The order has been placed and very shortly the two new discs will be at my doorstep. There has really been no other official announcement other than what's on myspace. As soon as I have confirmation there won't be any hitches I'll send a mass email detailing the plans. In the meantime go check out the tracks on myspace! Thanks for stopping by...

Joe Nacco Revival?
New music brings new interest. The site is hopping again and I'm updating more than once every three months, so that helps too. I'm putting the finishing touches on the graphics for the two new albums. I've decided to pull the free versions, congrats to those who got them. I did leave the acoustic album up for grabs on the mp3 page. I'll probably always keep it there as a freebie for visiting the site. Meanwhile, the new single "who you once were" is posted on myspace. Please have a listen if you haven't already. No word on any shows, not too sure if I'll do that or just continue to post music I've recorded. There will be a physical release in about two months for "No One Likes a Ballad" and "tHe$nOwMoNkEe$" albums. More to come...

Hello everyone, this is my first report in a very long time. I've been all over traveling the country from Hawaii to California to Washington DC to NY. Musically, I don't have much to report other than the fact that I have a lot of music recorded that I need to officially release and will... shortly I swear. I have left California officially and I am back in NY just getting settled and dealing with everything stated on the main page. As soon as I can, I will post anything musically going on. There is a new song posted on my myspace page. All my "officially unreleased" music is available in mp3 format on the mp3 page. Thank you.
