Running time:
5 min. and 01 secs.

Song notes:
This song was written sometime in 2001. It really reminds me of the music that band plays in the movie From Dusk Til Dawn. We played it a few times in HEAD just before we called it quits and then it just became forgotten. If I recall correctly, it went against our style at the time and we never locked in to a groove while performing it. Everyone did like the song and often inquired about it and it never was recorded other than an acoustic demo (which actually appeared in the indie film Used People). I first decided to bring it in cause it has an interesting middle break, which during shows have turned in to long instrumentals.

Production notes:
This was one of 4 songs that got recorded twice. I had big production plans for the middle section. On the first version that we scrapped, the middle section was 68 measures and I believe the song clocked in over 7 minutes. However, we ended up re-recording it cause I felt it was a little fast and the beat didn't drive enough. When we took the scrap mix home the second time to go over, we mixed out all the keyboard parts I added and I realized that it just sounded better raw, with just guitar, bass and drums. We clipped the middle section to 16 measures cause that wasn't coming together like we wanted either. Sometimes smaller is truly better.

Lyrics:
You want to see what's up inside my room?
You want to see what's up inside my room?
You sit around waiting for a sign
You sit around waiting for a sign

Wait til the morning comes, baby
Wait til the morning comes my dear less
Wait til the morning comes, you'll be wishing that you
Wishing that you weren't here at all

You like the things that are up inside my room?
You like the things that are up inside my room?
You sit around waiting for a sign
You sit around waiting for a sign

Wait til the morning comes, baby
Wait til the morning comes my dear less
Wait til the morning comes, you'll be wishing that you
Wishing that you weren't here at all

So much for you
So much for love
Maybe the next time you will find
Just what you've been looking for

(middle section)

Wait til the morning comes, baby
Wait til the morning comes my dear less
Wait til the morning comes, you'll be wishing that you
Wishing that you weren't here at all
Wait til the morning comes, baby
Wait til the morning comes my dear less
Wait til the morning comes, you'll be wishing that you
Wishing that you weren't here at all
